The Digital Stories project has won the grand prize in the Technology and Innovation category of the Web Report awards for good journalism. Organized by Dir.bg, one of Bulgaria's major news portals, the competition has become one of the country's leading journalism challenges in recent years.
“But… Who's to Blame?”—the piece that launched Digital Stories—received this prestigious recognition just three months after the project began.

The jury brings together leading journalists from various media outlets, tasked with judging the work of their colleagues. The pieces published over the past year were assessed for accuracy, objectivity and craftsmanship. This year more than 100 journalists took part, with over 300 publications in six categories.
